Hello and welcome to Wands and Broomsticks, a newly opened Hogwarts Present-Day Roleplay! I could ramble forever about this and myself but let's get to what you, the roleplayer needs and wants to know about this site. 

This is a Resent-Day Canon-Following Roleplay. Canon characters and families can be claimed in the Plots Section and if their players go inactive will either be placed up for adoption, or taken by someone currently involved in their plots. This is a One-Account-Per-Character Site, though if you desire you may combine posts in threads where multiple of your characters are in. This website is for all literacy level, from the new-comer to the mot experienced and in-depth roleplaying master. We only require 100 words per post, though we encourage more. Characters age naturally here and time flows at its normal pace and class thread, while encouraged, are not required for your character to advance to the next year come the end of the year. 

Now to get down to the rest. The plot of this roleplay will fluctuate and happen yearly or semi-annually, from Quidditch Tournaments to Holiday events, to Ministry Happenings and Muggle Involvements. With the class of 2014 hitting Hogwarts in a slam, the request for technological conveniences is at an all time high at Hogwarts and some of the wizards and witches from the Salem Institute of Witches have elected to help set up "muggle friendly" spots around the school, where magic works with high powered technology in harmony. There has also been a few changes in the curriculum and required classes and offered electives since Mr. Potter and his friends have attended Hogwarts back in the 90s. So come on in, don't be shy!
