1. Rules & Regulations

Let's start with the basics:

• We have a Three-Strikes-Out System here. If you disrespect the admins or any members, whether it be by insulting, threatening, or becoming unruly and breaking our rules, we will offer two warnings. These warnings may be either delivered publicly through the CBox, or privately through a private message and by either administrator. Admins will not ban you until it has been discussed by both of us.
  
  
• If it is clear in your character application that you have not read the rules, regulations, or our guides that we have provided, then we reserve the right to not accept your application until you conform it to meet our requirements. We are more than ready to work with you to input new characters and plots, but it is far too often that people do not read the rules, which is frustrating.

• Don't try to impersonate staff or other members. Because it's a really bad idea.

• Be Respectful to EVERYONE. No bashing of other people's religious beliefs, gender, sexual orientation or race. 

• Take Fights and Arguments off the site, please. They begin as entertaining and then quickly become annoying.

• We have a board for questions if you have any, do not hesitate to make a thread or PM the admins. I am on daily and if I am not on when you are, simply PM or skype me (listed below). I get both to my phone.

• All the normal general rules you'll see in rps apply here. 

• No spamming.

• Try to limit swearing. Keep in mind we have a skype group if you wish to avoid spamming the cbox with plot ideas or curse like a pirate (like me). Simply PM me and I can add you. My personal Skype is "VampireLouislove" and if you tell me who you are when you add me I'll add you to the group.
  

• Sometimes the CBox is weird and says a name is already registered. Likely it is not. Simply click on the "profile" link under the "Go" button and add a password to the desired name. If you continue to have problems PM me and I shall personally add the name myself.
  

• Know that until further notice, the Wands & Broomsticks CBox is running through the Free by the Stars Cbox. Why? Well, because I've already paid for a year's worth of it and until I officially close the site I run known as Free by the Stars, I will run it through both

• We have no character limit, BUT there is a limit of 3 characters your first week. After you prove to remain active for a week, you are allowed any number of characters. Beware though, because if they do not stay active come the monthly activity checks they will be placed on restrictions and then eventually deleted if activity doesn't go up.

• This roleplay is set in present day. The day that it is in real life is around the time it is in the roleplay, though we don't handle time strictly here. 

• As an avid roleplayer, and a writer, it always bothers me when roleplaying with yourself is banned or frowned upon. I know that it's difficult for some people to keep up with threads but that doesn't mean that the active players should suffer. Please try to keep threads where it is all your own characters to a minimum but exceptions will be made I'm sure.

• Our word count is 100 words. Please no less, be descriptive, engage your surroundings. We encourage you to write more, but also understand that if there is a lag in posting or a lack of muse sometimes you need to move it along.

• No Godmodding/Powerplay, no killing other characters without their play's consent, make sure to forewarn the admins, and try to mention in a little OOC (out of character) note that this is a consented act.

• No overly graphic scenes. The academy's students range in age from 11 to over 18, and then there's the staff, but that does not mean scenes of a sexual nature will be allowed here, as it breaks the Proboards policy. Fights should avoid being over graphic with violence. Rape may only occur given the female player's consent and should also be mostly implied. 

• One Account Per Character. Why? Because on Proboards you have amaster account that is linked to all your characters, allowing you to press the button in the bottom right hand corner of your screen (the two little people beside the settings gear). I know a lot of people don't like this but with Version 5 allowing linked accounts there really is no reason that it should be confusing. This way we may add stats per character to their profile for easy battle, as well as age and individual currency.

• Most Eye Colors are Allowed: Yellow, Gold, Amber, Blue, Green, Black, and Brown. White only available for those with cataracts, and Red or Pink must be purchased from the School Store.

• Staff & Prefect Positions: Anyone is allowed to try and obtain a position, just look and see what positions are available where and then apply. If you need help feel free to ask the admins or any other members!

• Currency may be transferred between your accounts to purchase items. There is a form in the Store Thread.
